Here’s what a guest from Ohio had to say about The Seralago Hotel & Suites on TripAdvisor.
We stayed at the Seralago Aug 8th-13th room 704 and was very pleased with the hotel. Check in was quick and the clerk was so friendly. There were 4 adults and 2 children so we got a suite. It was very nice and roomy. very clean and the beds were not too bad. We ate at the breakfast bar and thought it was very good, good variety and things that kids like. The servers were so nice, they took time with the kids and were patient with them. We had left to go to Disney and came back tired that night but we had a nice surprise, for the housekeeper (Ana Patricia} had cleaned and straightened our room, putting our groceries and kitchen items away neatly on the shelves. The kids stuffed animals were arranged in an order as if they were greeting us when we came in. I could not really find anything that was wrong with the room,it was so clean. Everyone that we met that worked there were super nice. They have a nice shuttle bus to transport guests to Disney and other places. Even the bus driver was so nice and joked around with us. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the pool but it did look really nice and clean The game room was nice for the kids and the general store had reasonable prices. Our stay there was very enjoyable and I will recomend this to my framily and friends. Thanks Seralago for giving us a pleasurable vacation.

Here is what Pamela from London, UK had to say about The Seralago Hotel & Suites on TripAdvisor.
Reviewed August 25, 2011 NEW
Although we hadn’t originally booked this hotel, on arrival we found our booking had been moved to Seralago. We found the hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was on the ground floor, spacious enough for the 4 of us. We didn’t use the microwave, but the fridge was clean and we used that daily. The room did smell a little damp, but I put that down to the sheer humidity in Orlando? We had clean towels every day. Bedding could have been better, (some cigarette burns on top blankets) but was sheets were clean. Buffet Breakfast was excellent, filling and just too much by the end of our 2 week stay! The restaurant staff were so friendly they seemed like actors, but since they managed to keep it up every day for 14 days, we know they’re genuinely “nice people” so we were happy to tip them. If we didn’t have change - we didn’t notice any drop off in their attitudes. We ate lunch in the restaurant on one of our rest days and it was pretty pricey (as you’d expect from any hotel really), but portions were true American size and the food tasted good. It was a burger/microwave heat up type of restaurant which was ok for lunch. The only piece of advice I’d give the management is - get rid of those disgusting sofas in the reception!!! [Management note: We're glad to say that 2 of the sofas have been replaced and we are working to have them totally replaced soon.] They were once lime green leather suites, but now are simply blackened, cracked leather and are so unappealing. I didn’t notice them when we arrived - I was too anxious to know our booking transfer had gone smoothly (and it had). But my husband noticed them straight away and didn’t really want to stay there if they proved to be a reflection of the general cleanliness. Thankfully, they didn’t. But really - bin them. They’re not adding to the decor and their right in the reception area! They need to go!! No chairs would be better than those. Pools seemed very popular with guests -from first thing at breakfast time until quite late at night - we were just too dead tired after Disney/Universal etc so didn’t actually use them at all. Rooms are air conditioned and the unit we had worked excellently. Room service staff were honest and friendly, if not great with English language, since most of them spoke Spanish, but this didn’t matter at all - honesty is the priority when you’re leaving your things in their care while you’re gone. The gym is really just a tiny room with 4 pieces of equipment, so my husband gave that a miss - although given how tired we were (this was our first trip to Orlando) I don’t really think he would have had any energy left to use it anyway no matter how big it was. The real bonus of staying at Seralargo was being right next to “Old Town”. The hotel’s in a fantastic part of Orlando where every Saturday night car enthusiasts bring out their beautifully and lovingly restored cars dating back from 1920s and 30s, ‘57 chevvies, cadillacs, dodges, right up to VW beetles and campervans. It’s incredible and you get to see a real piece of the US. Locals come out, music is played everywhere and there’s lots of great fun fair rides for everyone (if you haven’t had enough of rides already!) There’s some absolutely death defying bungee rides if you’re really daring or downright suicidal! And a fantastic atmosphere, and not one piece of rubbish on the floor in the whole area, despite the fact that there are literally hundreds of people walking about and lots of food, drinks, sweets etc on sale! It couldn’t happen in England. And best of all there’s a parade of the cars just before they leave so you can hear the roar of their engines. I loved it and I’m no car enthusiast! We’d have missed all this if we’d stayed on Disney! Seralargo gets my vote and it’s only 1.3 km from Disney I think. We’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. There’s a cinema room where kids can select whatever film they like. Ours never used it since they were always too tired and we had a TV in our room anyway with a million channels. There’s a games room in the reception area - our 2 kids loved that - there’s an ice hockey table, simulator games etc. They spent a few hours having fun in there. Great hotel all in all. We’ve already recommended it to our friends who are going to Orlando next year.
Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room - then you can park your car right outside your door.

“More than it looks”
We were a little leery of the “motel-like” appearance but were pleasantly surprised! The Kid Suites were PERFECT for the kids. It created a total separate area in the room for the kids with their own TV and 3 beds (Bunk beds and a twin). The kids loved it and so did we! The pool was heated which was a plus in March. Will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!
Area recommendations
You must go to Fun Spot. It very close to the hotel and worth the money!

Have you heard?! The Fun Spot USA located right next door to us, by Old Town, will be getting its first roller coaster! It’s called The Galaxy Spin, and it’s a 55 foot-tall “wild mouse” coaster that seats up to four people per car! This wild mouse coaster is a small roller coaster that takes tight, flat turns and averages 30 miles per hour. It will provide different experiences depending on how many people ride it at a time and how much they weigh. Those factors can cause variation in the spins and turns the cart takes.
The Galaxy Spin is the 20th ride at Fun Spot USA and it will be incorporated within the $34.95 all-rides armband. The $34.95 armband includes all of Fun Spot’s thrill rides, go-kart tracks and other attractions. A $24.95 armband includes all of the attraction’s rides except the go-kart tracks. Individual admission – three Fun Spot tickets – amounts to about $9 per ride.
This new ride is planned to open this Christmas. The folks at The Fun Spot USA will be working hard this fall. If you visit us during the fall, be sure to take a peak and check out the progress. We’ll try to walk over from time to time and take some photos to keep you updated.

Can you believe that Easter is just around the corner?! Last year was fun - but Easter 2010 promises to be the best ever at the Seralago Hotel & Suites. Here’s a sneak-peak of what we have planned for our guests!
Of course we’ll have our live Bunnies! Join us in the lobby each morning the last week in March to pet our little guests. We would like your help in naming them, so be sure to enter our “Name The Bunnies” contest to win a great prize!
We’ll have daily fun games in the lobby as well - from guessing the number of jellybeans in the jar to coloring Easter Eggs! That’s always a hit! Do you know how many eggs we colored that morning last year?! We colored 6 dozen eggs in 2 hours! That’s a lot of eggs!
Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travaganza will take place on Saturday morning, April 3rd. Join us at the Pool Bar for some coffee, juice, doughnuts and danish. Our very own Seralago Easter Bunny will be hosting the event, posing for photos and giving away great prizes!!
New this year will be an Easter Scavenger Hunt! We’re very excited about this. It will start on Wednesday, March 31st and end on Friday, April 2nd. Two clues will be posted each day in our lobby. Have fun searching the hotel for the answers. Once you have all the answers, turn in your paper on Saturday morning and get a special prize for playing. There will be One Grand Prize Winner.
We’ll have more details coming soon.
