We’ve been hard at work planning our Easter Fun. Here at the Seralago Hotel & Suites, we are known for our family friendly activities. You know you can always count on plenty of fun for the whole family. This year, the Easter fun begins on April 18th, with fun and games in our hotel lobby. And of course there will be plenty of prizes!
 Decorating Eggs Be sure to stop by our lobby each morning from April 18th through April 22nd for Easter fun and games. Returning again this year, is our annual egg decorating. We’ll be in the lobby on Friday, April 22nd, looking for some artistic guests (both young and old) who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Last year, our Food and Beverage Director, cooked approximately 8 dozen eggs for us! Do you like your eggs decorated using just one color or a mix of different colors?
In 2010, we started something new, an Easter Scavenger Hunt. Our younger guests had so much fun with it, that we decided to bring it back again this year! Starting on Wednesday, April 20th you will see our younger guests traveling around the hotel looking for clues. The Scavenger Hunt ends on Friday with the winner announced at the Seralago Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travaganza on Saturday morning.

 Ready, Set, Go... This year the staff will be out early in the morning on Saturday, April 23rd, hiding approximately 700 plastic eggs filled with candy and special prizes. Coffee, juice, doughnuts and danish will be served at the pool bar for our guests as they wait for the festivities to begin. We have lots of goodies waiting to be claimed by those lucky enough to uncover the eggs with special messages inside.
Whether you are guessing the number of jellybeans in the jar, decorating eggs, traveling the hotel on a scavenger hunt or searching for hidden eggs; It’s always a fun time at the Seralago Hotel & Suites. We hope you can join us for some Easter Fun!

We’re so excited about 2011! For the entire year, starting January 1st, when our guests book their reservations directly with us, they have an opportunity for something special to happen! Make your reservation by calling us on the telephone at 800-366-5437 or 407-396-4488, or by visiting us on our website and you may receive one of our special opportunities!
We will randomly select One Reservation per day to receive something special. The more reservations you make - the greater your chance to receive something special! It may be an additional 20% off your reservation or something fun like tickets to the Magic Show performed in our Theater on Monday nights. You just never know if your reservation will be the one to receive something special.

We have a tradition here at the Seralago Hotel & Suites around this time of year. It’s our Christmas Tree Decorating Contest. Employees from Housekeeping, Front Desk, Engineering, Security, Sales, Food & Beverage, and Accounting, decorate Christmas trees. We display them in our lobby for our guests to judge. Which department decorated which tree is a secret! This year we’re allowing our friends who are not able to be here in person, to join in the fun by voting online.

When you visit our lobby, you’ll see eight decorated pumpkins waiting to be judged. Eight departments here at the Seralago Hotel & Suites decorated pumpkins. Employees from Housekeeping, Front Desk, Accounting, Reservations, Sales, Engineering, Food and Beverage and Security had fun decorating pumpkins. Now it’s your turn to pick your favorite. We have ballots in our lobby and have an online survey set up for those that can’t join us at the hotel this week. We’re so excited to let you know that we have added a FREE Shuttle to Universal Studios® Orlando. It departs the Seralago Hotel & Suites at 8:45am every morning. After a full day at the park, you’ll be able to catch the shuttle back to our hotel at 5pm. Your shuttle bus will be waiting for you at the Charter Bus Parking area - Lane #50.

Do you know about Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? It begins May 21 and runs for 4 consecutive weekends ending June 13th. This event brings fans of all ages together as they come face to face with their favorite Star Wars characters. If you are anything like my husband and son, you’ll want to be there very, very early – between 5:30-6:00am, before the park opens to stand in line for Fast Passes to meet the celebrities.
The Star Wars Weekend event fills Disney’s Hollywood Studios with more than 50 Star Wars characters from the entire saga, including the evil Sith Darth Vader and Darth Maul, Greedo, Queen Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, R2-D2, the loveable Wookiee Chewbacca, Twi’leks, Rodians and every hero, heroine, droid and villain in between. Jedi Mickey Mouse has even been known to make an appearance. While in line for the Star Tours attraction one year, I was startled to find Darth Vader standing behind me in line! My family thought it was funny, but I have to say, there’s something about being face to face with Darth Vader! Yikes!
This year celebrity hosts will be Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett from Empire and Return of the Jedi) and Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka) from The Clone Wars. The celebrity line up for 2010 is as follows:
- May 21-23 – Temuera Morrison, Daniel Logan, and Dee Bradley Baker
Morrison played Jango Fett as well as the clone troopers in the live action movies, while Daniel Logan played Boba Fett and all the clone cadets in Episode II. Baker is the voice of all the clone troopers in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, including the ever popular Captain Rex.
- May 28-30 – Matthew Wood, Lorne Peterson and Tom Kane
In addition to providing the rasping voice of General Grievous and his chatty battle droids, Matthew Wood is also a sound editor on the Star Wars prequels and The Clone Wars. Lorne Peterson is a veteran ILM model-maker who worked behind-the-scenes on all six Star Wars movies. Tom Kane is the voice of Yoda in The Clone Wars, and also the narrator who begins each show with a rousing introduction.
- June 4-6 – Billy Dee Williams, Ray Park, and Dave Filoni
Williams is of course famous for his role as Lando Calrissian, administrator of Cloud City and Rebel hero. Ray Park is the energetic, acrobatic villain Darth Maul from Episode I, and Dave Filoni is the supervising director of The Clone Wars.
- June 11-13 – Ray Park, Peter Mayhew and James Arnold Taylor
Ray Park returns for a second weekend, and he is joined by Peter Mayhew, the gentle giant behind the walking carpet – Chewbacca the Wookiee. James Arnold Taylor provides the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars, as well as Plo Koon.
Star Wars Weekends features a variety of activities such as: “Star Wars Trivia,” with prize giveaways; “Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy,” allowing kids under 12 to hone their light saber skills and prepare to do battle with Darth Vader himself; and a motorcade featuring favorite Star Wars celebrities.
Star Wars celebrities are on hand each weekend for photos, Q&A, autograph sessions and Hollywood-style motorcades.
These Star Wars Festivities are included with regular theme park admission.

Can you believe that Easter is just around the corner?! Last year was fun - but Easter 2010 promises to be the best ever at the Seralago Hotel & Suites. Here’s a sneak-peak of what we have planned for our guests!
Of course we’ll have our live Bunnies! Join us in the lobby each morning the last week in March to pet our little guests. We would like your help in naming them, so be sure to enter our “Name The Bunnies” contest to win a great prize!
We’ll have daily fun games in the lobby as well - from guessing the number of jellybeans in the jar to coloring Easter Eggs! That’s always a hit! Do you know how many eggs we colored that morning last year?! We colored 6 dozen eggs in 2 hours! That’s a lot of eggs!
Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travaganza will take place on Saturday morning, April 3rd. Join us at the Pool Bar for some coffee, juice, doughnuts and danish. Our very own Seralago Easter Bunny will be hosting the event, posing for photos and giving away great prizes!!
New this year will be an Easter Scavenger Hunt! We’re very excited about this. It will start on Wednesday, March 31st and end on Friday, April 2nd. Two clues will be posted each day in our lobby. Have fun searching the hotel for the answers. Once you have all the answers, turn in your paper on Saturday morning and get a special prize for playing. There will be One Grand Prize Winner.
