We're Getting Greener Everyday!
Here at the Seralago Hotel & Suites we have been making changes to how we do things; from the Executive Office to the rooms where you stay.
- Recycling paper, trash, cardboard and styrofoam
- Using Green Seal Certified products:
- hand soap
- toilet paper
- white roll paper towels
- paper towels
- most of our cleaning chemicals
- Transitioning to flourescent lifesaver bulbs in guest rooms
- Linens are washed twice a week or daily upon guest request
And now we have a new program that we have implemented though a partnership with Clean the World. Every single day after our guests have checked out, we collect the partially used soap and shampoo, place them in a Clean the World pickup bin to ensure that they will not end up in a Central Florida land fill. Instead we make sure those items will be recycled and delivered to impoverished people in Haiti, Africa, Mexico or any of the other 50+ countries that have received deliveries of Clean the World soap.
